To reduce the operation cost and protect the environment, China petrol drilling crew are seeking natural gas gensets to replace the traditional diesel power.
810kW gas power unit supplies power for slurry pump, winch and rotator system. 50 serial drilling platforms are matched with 2 × 810 kW gas power units (70 serial drilling platform need 3 × 810 kW gas power units) to replace the original diesel power unit. Meanwhile, 1 × 750 kW gas genset power the auxiliary production system.

Solution Principle
For our power solution for mechanical drilling platform, 6 to 22MPa natural gas is introduced to the decompression skid from CNG tanker and reduced to 0.4 to 0.9MPa. After decompression, the natural gas will go into the gas power unit and the gas genset through the buffer tank. Then the operator can start the gas power unit to power the drilling platform through chain transmission box, and the AMICO gas genset will power the voltage transformer room and other auxiliary production system.
